Welcome to Vela Works Task Manager. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Use of Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Service for your personal or internal business purposes. The service may undergo frequent updates, feature additions, or modifications, which may happen without prior notice.

2. User Accounts and Teams

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. When creating or participating in a "Team," the Team Owner agrees to assume administrative responsibility over the team's data, access requests, and invited members. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
• Upload, share, or distribute any malacious software, unlawfully acquired material, or content that infringes on third-party intellectual property.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users, especially within shared Team workspaces.
• Attempt to circumvent our Row Level Security (RLS) policies or probe the database infrastructure.

4. Content Ownership

You retain all rights and ownership to the data, tasks, and notes you create. However, by sharing tasks within a Team, you grant your fellow team members the necessary rights to view, edit, or interact with that content according to their role permissions.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Vela Works, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the service.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. You may also terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide noticeable communication prior to any significant new terms taking effect.
